A: We try to implement all website migrations as fast as possible. However, we do not have a set time frame for website migrations. There are certain things that you have to take into consideration – the sheer size of your site and the workload of our web site migration team, etc. We constantly try to perform each migration in less than 48 hours. With smaller–sized web sites, our staff usually manages to finish in less than 24 hours.

A: Yes. We’ll need the name of the website that you want us to migrate. We will also need a way to log into your old hosting account so that we can get the content associated with your website.

As soon as we are through with the migration, your site will be configured to work on our platform and we’ll ask you to preview it. If everything is working correctly, all you will need to do is update the name server resource records pertaining to your domain. Your web site will be migrated over to us without any downtime.

A: Nope. We’ll never get in touch with your web hosting provider about anything. They won’t be aware of the website transfer either.

A: We can transfer your web site from any hosting provider or any Linux–based hosting platform on condition that we can access the Control Panel and there is FTP access available.The only sites that we’re unable to migrate are the ones based on closed–source software apps such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square and Mr Site.
